This is a 15 watt mini portable amplifier that I decided to house in some wedge boxes that I purchased from Parts Experess many years ago for $5 each.  I discovered them in storage and thought they would make for a nice enclosure for a portable amplifier.

It is powered by 8D cell batteries.  It has tone Bass and Treble controls as well as a gain control on the mic/line input.  It has a 1/8″ stereo input jack for connecting other accessories (like an iPod). I also included an optional 1/4 input jack on the back.  Thought that might come in handy depenging on how this would be set up.

This is a nice handy package for portability.  I wanted this one to be very rugged and worthy of rough travel.  Excellent amplifier if you need something that’s battery powered and still produces a substantial volume.

I’m currently building another one of these with an extra wedge box that I have.  If anyone is interested in owning one of these drop me a line and make me an offer.
