Etching some circuit boards

Etching some circuit boards

Etched a few boards that I seem to use pretty often.  A mini-amplifier circuit that get’s installed into units that don’t have amplification.  Allows for a speaker without having to hook up to an external amp.  The other is timer circuit that it sends out pulses that trigger sounds in circuit bent toys.

The pitch bend | sesame street sax

Added a switch the will mute the main sax voice and also added the pitch bends.  Nothing special here, but I love the low pitch growl this thing produces.  Nice texture.

Found a slew of toys at the thrift store the weekend.  Think I’ll mess around this this saxaphone looking thing first.  Stay tuned.

Wedge boxes

I’ve been wanting to create a matched pair of mini powered speakers for a while now.  I would use them as a small stereo PA system hooked up to a mini mixer. I picked up these 2 wedge boxes from Parts Express for $5 each.
